In 2012, Cedar Hammock Fire Rescue welcomed Jim Tisdale of Suncoast Elevator, to Cedar Hammock’s Fire Station #1 to participate in an elevator safety training program. As first responders we assist with many types of rescue situations. Elevator rescue is one of them. Jim developed a training program that provided our department with additional skills and techniques to make our rescues safer and more efficient. Jim has the extensive knowledge and skills to enhance the quality service that our community has come to expect. We hope to have him back in 2013 to help train our new recruits!
